Hi guys, Are you getting an error "Wrong Sim" while inserting an MTS sim card or any other CDMA sim card in MTS ZTE S100 phone? Let me first tell you why it happens. MTS ZTE S100 is a very old phone with old operating system in it. The new sim cards made by MTS or any other operator are based on new software and works only in phones with new operating system. This is the reason behind the "Wrong Sim" issue that you are facing.
So now I will explain you how to get rid of this problem.
-- First download the MTS ZTE S100 USB drivers by clicking this link-: http://d-h.st/qmYr
-- Now download MTS ZTE S100 flash file with flasher software included-: http://d-h.st/cJaE
After that extract both zip files and install USB drivers. Password for the zip file containing flash file and flasher software is- hackerxxad1997
Now follow the steps listed below-:
1. Switch off your MTS ZTE S100 phone and takeout battery, sim card and then re-insert the battery and switch on the phone. Exit that "emergency calls" window.
2. Now connect the MTS ZTE S100 phone to your PC via USB cable. Make sure that sim card is not present in the phone.
3. Open "ZTE_S100_FLASHER_UNLOCK" folder and launch
"3DL_VMI_QSC6010V1.00.02.exe".
4. Select proper com port from the list.
NOTE-: The com port in which you can see "S100" written below is the proper com port.
5. In "Phone Image File" section, Click on browse and select "TM_S100_RBTL35NV1.0.0B04.bin".
6. In "Backup NV path" section, select any folder where NV Backup will be made.
7. Now check the "Super User" check box and enter any 8 digits in PC code field and click
on "Register".
NOTE-: Remember the code as it may be required at later stage.
8. Now click on "Start". Once the process starts, It will take around 20-25 minutes. Wait till the process gets completed. Once process gets complete, Disconnect ZTE S100 from PC and switch it off and re-start with the sim card inserted.
Congrats! Now you will see that sim card is working successfully. :)
